The Story of the Bible

Course Description

A survey of the unfolding biblical story from creation to consummation and the main theological truths that emerge from that story. Focus will be given to the overarching narrative of the Bible:

Creation, Fall, Israel, Jesus, the Church, and the new heaven and new earth. The class will instill in students a redemptive-historical understanding of biblical interpretation as well as offer an introduction to foundational Christian doctrines, such as the Trinity, sin, the person and work of Christ, the gospel of grace, etc. (2 credits)
