Dr. Schrock is a basketball player-turned-Christ follower. In college, he sensed a call to ministry, which led him to pastoral and theological training at Southern Seminary. During that time, he served as a senior pastor in Southern Indiana for five years, until he and his family moved to Virginia to serve as pastor of preaching and theology at Occoquan Bible Church (OBC).

In class, Dr. Schrock delights to teach theology that leads to doxology and equips ministers for local church ministry. From a deep-seated conviction that the best theology springs from biblical exegesis, he labors to show how the Reformed faith arises from the whole Bible. To this end, he seeks to proclaim Christ from all the Scripture, in order to make disciples of all the nations.
