Dr. Anderson is lead pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Before coming to Indy in 2017, he was a pastor in Columbia, Missouri for five years and on the faculty at Oak Hill Theological College in London, England, for five years, where he taught New Testament and biblical languages. He co-edited and contributed to Everyday Theology: How to Read Texts and Interpret Trends with Kevin Vanhoozer and Michael Sleasman and wrote Philo of Alexandria’s Views of the Physical World, along with essays on Hebrews and Luke-Acts.

He is married to Erin, and they have four kids (all born in England, though sadly, none of them still have English accents).
