LAYING A FOUNDATION FOR A GREAT NEW SEMINARY IN INDIANAPOLIS

In October 2014, thirty leaders from various denominations and church traditions around Indianapolis gathered to discuss the launch of a new seminary—a seminary that would be thoroughly biblical and deeply rooted in the doctrines of the Reformation.

We selected the name Indianapolis Theological Seminary and hosted our first classes in the fall of 2015. A year later, we launched a new Master of Arts in Biblical Ministry degree with 12 students. In the fall of 2017 we added courses to comprise the Master of Divinity degree. Today, we also offer a Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies. From the beginning God has blessed us with high caliber students, biblically rigorous classes, and world-class professors. Already our active student body is over 80 with degree-seekers, auditors, and those who desire to love the Lord their God with all their minds and hearts.

Already, God is being glorified for the good of the church!

A strong foundation will enable us to grow a local, affordable, academically robust institution, and raise up emerging leaders from Christ-centered denominations and churches.

To lay this foundation, we need to hire administrative personnel and attract new faculty. To begin, our "Founders Campaign" is looking annually to raise $145,000 from committed recurring donors.

Such donors are individuals, foundations and churches. The growing list of Indianapolis churches that regularly support ITS include:
